My new name cards rock.
It’s finally here. The “real” holiday we’ve been waiting for. Penang World Music Festival, here we come.
I probably should have used exclamations, but I’m numb and tired and at the end of my rope. I don’t often get this way, and quite frankly, I can’t wait to get out of Kuching. Exclamation marks can come later.
Why do I call this a dangerous time?
Taking a step away from routine and going away gives me time to stop and think. And breathe. Without the constant swirl of work, deadlines and interviews around me. To be somewhere else, doing something else, away from all things familiar.
Going away have a way of opening your eyes to the grand scheme of things, and showing you where to go next. It’s happened before, and no doubt, it will happen again.
