I am a professional writer with nearly 14 years of experience in print journalism and over 25 years of wrangling words into various forms. Apart from news reporting, feature writing, advertorials, press releases and other demands of journalism, I dabble in poetry, fiction and other forms of writing as art.
Currently, I’m a freelance writer available for hire.
I co-founded Wordsmiths of Kuching, a community for spoken word artists. I am also a founding member of Word Of Mouth KCH, an event featuring stories, poetry or anything done with the human voice. I am a 2018-2020 Malaysian Writer’s Society committee member representing Sarawak.
I am an introvert who also dabbles in calligraphy and hand lettering, taphophilia and urbex, and any number of fleeting interests that come along. I keep a bullet journal. I’m trying to read and review more.
I am learning how to read the tarot. Together with some friends, I co-founded and ran a small esoteric pop-up called Tarot & More until October 2019, when I left to pursue my own study and focus on my own brand Equatorial Eclectic.
I have an awesome dog, but I will pat all the doggos and puppers who will let me.
Like most Malaysians, I love to eat.
