In this season of hazy days and fires both natural and manmade, let’s not forget one important thing:
Backyard burning in urban areas is illegal.
If your asshole neighbour is merrily contributing to the current condition of the air, you can report them to Natural Resource & Environment Board (NREB) with their online form here, or by calling their hotline at 082-313313.
And to you skeptics who think that nobody will do anything about it, it’s better than sitting around complaining about how nobody’s doing anything about it… including you.
But I have to say, the haze gives us some pretty stunning sunsets. This photo doesn’t do it justice.
