POEMdemic

Four years ago, we were on the cusp of a historic world event. On 18 March 2020, Malaysia went into Movement Control Order (MCO) in a bid to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Life as we knew it stuttered to a halt.

Together with the 2020 cohort of Kuching Poetry Writing Month (KPoWriMo), I started writing on Day 1 of MCO, two weeks ahead of our normal start date of April 1st.

This was not the poetry chapbook I set out to do this year. When I reviewe this collection, I knew it was going out together instead of in separate pieces.

POEM-demic is only available as a PDF. Your support will help me pull together some funds to work on a decent print copy of the original title I wanted to release – “i said what i said“. (And to help me pay a few pressing bills.)
